Product Introduction

The kiln support wheels should be installed parallel to the kiln centerline. The kiln is inclined, and under its own weight, it tends to slide downwards. A hydraulic thrust wheel hydraulic station is used to force the kiln to rise or descend at a predetermined speed (usually about 2~3mm/h) either forcibly or controlledly, thereby effectively ensuring uniform contact and wear between the wheel belt and the support wheels, reducing the workload for wheel adjustment.

The normal travel range of the hydraulic locking wheel is ±10mm. When the travel range reaches 15mm, an alarm signal should be issued. When the travel range reaches (±30mm), the power supply to the main motor should be immediately stopped, allowing for a minor adjustment of ±2mm to the control travel by adjusting the position of the limit switch.

Operating Principle

The hydraulic station for the turntable is the power unit controlling the hydraulic action of the turntable on the rotary kiln. Its working principle is as shown in the diagram below.

The system is equipped with a plunger variable pump unit; during normal operation, the system pressure is 10MPa, and the pressure is 4MPa. The cylinder's upward speed is determined by the plunger variable pump and the speed control valve; the downward speed is set by another speed control valve. The oil temperature is controlled by an electric contact bimetallic thermometer installed on the oil tank to regulate the on/off of the electric heater. The system features a precision filter with a 20μm rating to ensure the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil. An alarm is triggered when the filter pressure difference reaches 0.35MPa, necessitating a timely replacement of the filter element.

While starting the rotary kiln, activate the working oil pump and connect the IDT electromagnet. The hydraulic oil is forced through the speed control valve A to move the kiln upwards: When the wheel seat encounters the upper limit switch, the oil pump motor is de-energized, and the IDT is also de-energized. At this point, the kiln's own weight allows the oil in the cylinder to flow through speed control B and the one-way valve (back pressure valve) into the oil tank; when the cylinder slides down and hits the lower limit switch, the IDT is re-energized, the pump restarts, and the above-mentioned action of pushing the kiln upwards is repeated.

If the system does not operate normally, an alarm signal should be triggered when the oil cylinder is moving up or down and encounters a fault in a set of limit switches, triggering another set of up or down switches. If the cylinder continues to move up or down and hits a position switch again, the main engine should be stopped immediately.
