Alumina hydrate flame retardant features non-toxicity, odorlessness, low viscosity, good dispersibility, high addition amount, high brightness, high purity, excellent flame retardant properties, and low sodium content. The company has 8 production lines for the production, research, and development of alumina hydrate flame retardant, and has unique manufacturing advantages in the production of high-brightness, medium-brightness, and ultra-fine alumina in terms of oil absorption rate, viscosity, particle size distribution, brightness, dispersibility, thixotropy, and modification. Product Features:

High purity

(1) Excellent flame-retardant and smoke-suppressing properties—Upon heating and dehydration, it decomposes, forming a dense and firm protective film on the surface of combustible materials to isolate oxygen, effectively suppressing the polymer's temperature rise and thermal degradation. It also absorbs and dissipates heat to reduce smoke production, causing carbonization without generating combustible material. Suitable for composite materials and plastics with processing temperatures below 220°C and plastics with processing temperatures around 300°C.

(2) Excellent Insulation Properties – The fluidized bed purification process significantly reduces the content of impurity ions such as iron, sodium, and potassium.

2. High brightness—Does not interfere with product dyeing and enhances product color saturation and appearance.

3. Low Silicon, Low Iron, Low Sodium – contents are respectively below 0.01%, 0.006%, and 0.2% or below.

4. Uniform and controllable particle size distribution.

5. Low Oil Absorption Rate - Products from modern automatic control systems have an oil absorption rate reduced by over 20% compared to traditional mechanical crushing systems.

Usage Instructions:

1. Selection should be based on the performance requirements of the product when used individually. Particle size is closely related to the properties of the composite material; the smaller the particle size, the smoother the surface and the more pronounced the reinforcement effect. However, the viscosity is also higher during blending, so please carefully adjust the formula to balance all properties.

2. Mixed with different particle sizes, it can form a dense filling within the polymer system at the appropriate ratio, enhancing flame-retardant properties. A rational compound system can prevent the settling or floating of fillers, while also reducing the viscosity of the resin blend under equal filling, facilitating shearing and dispersion.

3. Aluminum hydroxide, after ultra-fine processing, tends to agglomerate due to its increased specific surface area, resulting in poor compatibility with polymers and difficulty in even dispersion, which affects the processing properties of the composite materials. Hydrophobic aluminum hydroxide has good interfacial compatibility with high polymers, and the surface coating can undergo bond formation with the monomers of the base material resin, reducing the viscosity of the blend, eliminating interface stress concentration, and improving the mechanical properties of the composite materials. Therefore, it is recommended to use hydrophobic products.

4. Recommend determining the dosage through testing; samples (less than 5kg) are available free of charge.

Important Notes:

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from ground moisture and high heat sources. Transportation: Non-hazardous; protect from water and humidity during shipping, handle with care to prevent damage to packaging. Do not mix with other acidic or alkaline substances. Avoid exposure to air when relative humidity exceeds 80%, and reheat if necessary (to 110°C) before use. After use, ensure a sealed and moisture-proof environment; it is recommended to use the contents immediately after opening the packaging.

Product Packaging:

Internal plastic, external woven, laminated kraft paper bags, net weight per bag: 50kg, 40kg, 25kg, or in bulk ton bags. Custom packaging available upon customer request.
