Aluminum hydroxide flame retardants feature non-toxicity, odorlessness, low viscosity, good dispersibility, high addition rate, high brightness, high purity, excellent flame retardant properties, and low sodium content. Product Features:

High purity

(1) Excellent flame-retardant and smoke-suppressing properties – Upon heating and dehydration, it decomposes, forming a dense, solid protective film on the surface of combustible materials, which isolates oxygen and effectively suppresses the temperature rise and thermal degradation of polymers. It also reduces smoke production by absorbing and dissipating heat, causing carbonization without releasing flammable substances. Suitable for composite materials with processing temperatures below 220°C and plastics with processing temperatures around 300°C.

(2) Excellent Insulation Properties - The fluidized bed purification process significantly reduces the content of impurities such as iron, sodium, and potassium ions.

2. High brightness – does not interfere with product dyeing and enhances product color saturation and appearance.

3. Low silicon, low iron, low sodium – contents are all below 0.01%, 0.006%, and 0.2% respectively.

4. Uniform and controllable particle size distribution.

5. Low Oil Absorption Rate - Products from modern automatic control systems have an oil absorption rate reduced by over 20% compared to traditional mechanical crushing systems.

Usage Instructions:

1. Selection should be based on the performance requirements of the product when used alone. Particle size is closely related to the properties of the composite material; the smaller the particle size, the finer the surface texture and the more pronounced the reinforcing effect. However, the viscosity is also higher during blending, so please carefully adjust the formula to balance all properties.

2. Mixing with different particle sizes forms a dense filling within the polymer system at appropriate ratios, enhancing flame-retardant properties. A rational blending system prevents filler settling or floating, while also reducing the viscosity of the resin blend under equivalent filling amounts, facilitating shearing and dispersion.

3. After being ultra-refined, aluminum hydroxide, due to its increased specific surface area, tends to agglomerate, has poor compatibility with polymers, and is difficult to disperse evenly, affecting the processing properties of composite materials. Hydrophobic aluminum hydroxide has good interfacial compatibility with high polymers; the coated layer on its surface can form bond reactions with the resin groups of the base material, reducing the viscosity of the blend, eliminating interface stress concentration, and improving the mechanical properties of the composite materials. Therefore, hydrophobic products are recommended for use.

4. Recommend determining the addition amount through testing; samples (less than 5kg) are available free of charge.

Cautionary Notes:

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area to prevent ground moisture and keep away from high heat sources. Transportation: This product is non-hazardous; during transport, ensure it is protected from water and moisture, handle with care to prevent damage to packaging. Do not mix with other acidic or alkaline substances. Avoid exposing to air when the relative humidity exceeds 80%. If necessary, bake after (110℃) before use. After use, implement airtight moisture-proof measures; it is recommended to use the contents immediately after opening the packaging.

Internal plastic-coated, external woven film bags, kraft paper packaging. Available in 50kg, 40kg, 25kg bags or ton bags, also customizable according to customer requirements.
