2. Fire-resistant windows should be stored vertically in a dry indoor area, with anti-corrosion measures in place. The glass should be placed and leaned against objects that do not damage the edges or surfaces of the glass.
3. Installation
Prior to the installation of fire-resistant windows, they must be inspected. If the window frames or sashes are warped, deformed, or the glass is broken due to improper transportation or storage, they should be repaired before installation.
(2) During the installation of fire-resistant windows, use a level to ensure evenness or employ the hanging line method to correct the vertical alignment of front, back, left, and right. Aim for a horizontal level, vertical straightness, and consistent height.
(3) Window frames must be integrated with the building, connected to the walls using wooden or iron components. After the installation of steel window frames, concrete mortar must be poured between the frame and the wall, and it must be cured for over 24 hours before normal use.
(4) The positions of the mounting holes for hardware components should be accurate, ensuring that the hardware components can be installed flat and securely, meeting the usage requirements.
(5) During the installation of fire-resistant glass, ensure the gaps around all four sides are evenly spaced. After positioning, fill and level the gaps with fire-resistant cotton, and then seal the edges with a sealing strip.
(6) In addition to the aforementioned requirements, installation should be carried out in accordance with the "Code for Construction and Acceptance of Engineering Works."
