Most plastic raw materials are recyclable, but due to the brittleness of recycled plastic (gate-off material), it can only be mixed with new material (raw material), with a ratio not exceeding 25% being suitable, adhering to the customer's requirements as the standard. Different types of plastic materials, due to varying melting points and injection molding pressures, must not be mixed during production.
2. As plastic products must match colors, the raw materials for plastics can be categorized into: pellet material, pigment powder material, color type material, and the recently emerged method of adding liquid to color the raw plastic materials. Pellet material has pigments already mixed into the raw material, ensuring each plastic pellet is colored, resulting in a stable and uniform product color. Pigment powder and color type materials involve mixing the color type or pigment powder with the raw material, offering cost advantages and eliminating the need for large storage of colored materials. However, these materials lack color stability and can be challenging to control for consistency during production.
