Low-temperature storage tanks are primarily used in the industrial gas sector, with a broad industry application. Industries such as steel mills, chemical, oil, food, and aerospace all require gases. Industrial gases like oxygen, nitrogen, and argon, which are in high demand, are separated from air using air separation equipment. The air is compressed and liquefied, then separated based on the different boiling points of oxygen, nitrogen, and argon, and stored in low-temperature storage tanks.
The company boasts two sandblasting rooms, with all tanks being treated using the pneumatic steel shot sandblasting process, ensuring both exterior quality and paint quality. (After the overall sandblasting, the paint's adhesion is enhanced, significantly extending its lifespan.)
Each unit undergoes hydrostatic testing to ensure equipment strength and safety; each unit is tested for airtightness to guarantee sealing performance. After hydrostatic testing, the internal air is blown clean; and each pipe opening is sealed with plastic plates to prevent secondary contamination from the outside.
Huzhou Boiler Factory Co., Ltd.'s Pressure Vessel Division primarily produces 5-200 cubic meter liquefied gas storage tanks, liquid ammonia tanks, etc. Our series of liquefied petroleum gas storage tanks are designed, manufactured, and inspected in accordance with the GB150-2011 standard, using Q345R steel plates specific for pressure vessels. The entire tank is rolled using CNC coiling equipment and焊接 with automatic gas shielded welding technology, ensuring sturdy and aesthetically pleasing welds. Post-welding, the tanks undergo heat treatment in an overall annealing furnace to better eliminate internal stresses, enhance material toughness and hardness, and provide superior results compared to resistance wire heat treatment. The liquefied gas storage tanks undergo 100% radiographic testing to ensure that the steel plates and welds meet technical requirements. High-pressure water jet small steel shot blasting is used for rust removal, offering much better results than manual or abrasive wheel polishing. Then, coated with four layers of paint—two rustproof and two topcoats—the tanks ensure years of use without the need for repainting. Each tank is inspected and certified by the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau before shipment, ensuring nationwide validity.
