Procedures for Safe Operation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Aboveground Storage Tanks
1. Use tanks in accordance with national standards and design parameters; strictly prohibit overpressure and overfill operations.
2. Inspections are strictly conducted according to regulations; tanks that do not meet the standards cannot be put into use.
3. Various safety accessories of the storage tanks must be inspected regularly in accordance with regulations to ensure proper functioning.
4. Valves connected to the tank, including normally open and normally closed valves, must be clearly marked.
5. The storage tank's liquid volume should be strictly controlled to less than 85%, with clear limit markers on the liquid level gauge.
5. Promptly drain the tank if overfilling is detected.
6. Conduct daily routine checks of the tank's pressure, temperature, and level; promptly address any anomalies and report them.
7. When the summer temperature exceeds 35℃ and the storage tank pressure is above 10 kgf, it is mandatory to activate the sprinkler system for cooling.
8. When the winter temperature drops below 5°C, daily inspection and draining of the storage tank should be carried out to prevent ice blockage.
