LPG storage tanks are pressure vessels used for storing liquefied petroleum gas. Qualified steel plates undergo multiple processes such as rolling, splicing, welding, non-destructive testing, annealing, hydraulic and pneumatic tests, sandblasting for rust removal, and painting, all using advanced production techniques to guarantee the quality of our storage tanks. Liquefied gas storage tanks are primarily used in liquefied gas stations. The production process of the tanks involves several steps, with the key ones being: selecting raw materials from reputable large-scale steel enterprises, with our company opting for materials from state-owned steel mills in Jinan and Anyang; next, the tanks must undergo full annealing after welding to relieve the stress in the steel plates, ensuring the tank is a single unit with no cracks in the welds; further, we employ shot blasting for rust removal, using steel shot of one to two millimeters to sandblast the tank's surface, which effectively removes rust and allows the paint to last longer.***Our company has chosen products from large paint enterprises, applying two coats of rust-proof primer followed by two coats of topcoat. Four layers of paint ensure that the storage tank will not peel off for five to ten years, and with good maintenance, it can last up to twenty years without the need for repainting.

Use Instructions

1. Cylinders must be stored in well-ventilated areas, with a minimum distance of 1.5 meters from any fire or heat source. Cylinders should never be heated with fire, scalded with boiling water, or left exposed to direct sunlight. Regular inspections of cylinder valves and pipeline joints for air tightness are required to ensure no leaks. Typically, soap water is used to check for leaks; open flames for leak testing are strictly prohibited.

2. When lighting, first ignite the igniter, then open the gas; do not reverse the order. Someone should be on watch during use, do not leave, to prevent boiling water from spilling and extinguishing the flame, which could cause a surge of liquefied gas and lead to an explosion. After using the gas cylinder, make sure to close the valve tightly to prevent gas leakage.

3. The liquefied gas in the cylinder should not be completely exhausted; a certain residual pressure should be maintained. The residual pressure should generally be greater than 49.03 kPa (i.e., 0.5 kg/cm2, gauge pressure) to prevent air from entering the cylinder. After the liquefied petroleum gas is used up, the remaining residue in the cylinder is also a flammable material and should not be disposed of on its own to prevent fires caused by the flow and evaporation of the residue.

4、Liquefied Petroleum GasGas cylinders are pressurized containers that require proper maintenance and regular inspection. They must be handled to prevent dropping or impact, and it is forbidden to strike the valve opening with metal tools. They should be shielded from direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to rain. Gas cylinders are typically inspected every 2 years.

5、PetroleumLiquefied gas has a relatively narrow explosion radius, but due to its low flammability limit, it's prone to ignition and explosion upon leakage. Also, as LPG is heavier than air, it tends to flow downwards upon leaking, accumulating in low-lying areas and posing a hidden danger of gas explosions. Therefore, in places where gas leakage is likely, relying solely on window ventilation is insufficient; attention must be given to lower-level ventilation as well.

6. Upon discovering a liquefied gas leak indoors, immediately open windows and doors for ventilation, allowing the gas to disperse away from any open flame. Strictly prohibit any fire nearby until the fault is resolved and the distinctive odor is gone before use. Dispose of any spilled liquid on the ground by covering it with sand or soil before removing it to a safe location. In case of a gas cylinder fire, immediately close the valve, move it to an open area outdoors, and extinguish the fire using dry chemical, carbon dioxide extinguishers, or by covering it with a damp sack.

7. Educate children not to tamper with cylinders at will, and users must be aware of the safety knowledge related to cylinder use.
