In the surrounding environment of low-temperature liquid storage tanks, the leaked low-temperature liquid can easily vaporize and form a rich gas area. High concentrations of nitrogen, argon, and carbon dioxide can极易 cause asphyxiation injuries. Additionally, high oxygen concentrations can lead to hyperoxic injuries. Oxygen is a strong oxidizing agent with high oxidizing power. Liquid oxygen, when in close proximity to combustible materials, can easily ignite upon contact with an open flame; it can also produce explosions due to vibrations or impacts when contacting combustible materials; and when mixed with them, in a liquefied natural gas tank, it poses a potential explosive risk. Advantages of LNG

Compared to LPG and CNG, the advantages of LNG as an alternative fuel for vehicles are as follows:

(1) Clean and environmentally friendly. As a fuel for vehicles, LNG must first be vaporized by a vaporizer and then enter the engine in a gaseous state for complete combustion. Due to the high methane content of up to 90% to 99% in the composition of LNG, the exhaust contains very low levels of harmful substances, making it highly clean and environmentally friendly.

(2) High calorific value per unit price. Compared to other fuels, LNG offers a lower price and higher calorific value per unit. The low-temperature characteristics of LNG can reduce the temperature of the mixed gas and the combustion temperature, enhancing the engine's thermal efficiency. This effectively ensures that LNG burns more completely and thoroughly in the engine than LPG, CNG, diesel, and gasoline. Additionally, LNG has the properties of high energy density and high storage efficiency, making it more conducive to transportation and with a wider geographical range of use. Therefore, LNG boasts strong economic and applicability.

(3) High safety level. The LNG fuel tank allows working pressure up to 1.586 Mpa, with natural gas operation pressure typically set between 0.1759 to 1.4074 Mpa. Natural gas offers the advantage of a lower risk of danger compared to CNG. Automotive LNG tanks commonly use double-layer metal vacuum powder insulation or double-layer metal vacuum spiral insulation structures, providing high thermal insulation efficiency and enabling longer periods without gas release. After liquefaction, LNG has a lower density than air under atmospheric pressure, so even in the event of a leak, it will quickly disperse in the air. The risk of spontaneous combustion is minimal. Additionally, LNG composition is relatively stable, with its single and consistent composition aiding in determining design parameters such as engine compression ratio.
