Silicone TubeHow is the coloring done? There are mainly two methods for silicone tube coloring: surface coloring and mixed coloring.
Surface coloring method involves spraying the coloring agent onto the surface of silicone tubes, thereby coloring silicone products. This method is effective for static products, but the coloring agent tends to peel off and fade easily on dynamic products.
Color mixing is the primary method for coloring silicone tubes, which is divided into two types: solution method and blending method. The blending method further includes dry powder coloring, pigment paste coloring, granular material coloring, and color masterbatch vulcanization coloring, among others.

Solution-Dyed Coloring
The method is toSiliconeThis coloring method involves dissolving a good solvent into a solution of a certain concentration, then adding the dye and rubber additives (excluding sulfur) to the solution and mixing them thoroughly. The solvent is then dried off at a specific temperature, and sulfur is added to the rubber in a mill. This method is complex to operate, with uneven dispersion of the dye and additives, color variations, difficulty in solvent recovery, and environmental pollution. It is now less commonly used.
2. Compounding Method Coloring
This method is commonly used for coloring silicone tubes and silicone products, involving directly adding the coloring agent or mixing it with a carrier first before incorporating it into the rubber compound. It is then blended uniformly using a rubber mill, resulting in colored silicone.
