Silicone Sealing RingThis is a type of seal ring, made from various silicone materials to secure circular covers, ensuring a perfect fit between the gaps of the bearing's sleeve or washer. Compared to seal rings made from other materials, it offers superior performance in preventing water or oil leakage. Currently, it is mainly used for waterproof sealing and preservation in daily products such as storage containers, rice cookers, water dispensers, lunch boxes, magnetized cups, and coffee makers, providing convenience, safety, and environmental friendliness, and is well-loved by everyone.
The Differences Between Silicone Sealing Rings and Sealing Rings of Other Materials:
Excellent weather resistance
Weather resistance refers to a series of aging phenomena such as fading, discoloration, cracking, powdering, and strength reduction that occur due to external conditions like direct sunlight and temperature changes. UV radiation is a primary factor in accelerating the aging of products. The Si-O-Si bonds in silicone rubber are highly stable against oxygen, ozone, and UV radiation, exhibiting resistance to erosion by ozone and oxides. Even without any additives, silicone rubber boasts excellent weather resistance, preventing cracking even when used outdoors for extended periods.
Material: Safe and environmentally friendly
Silicone rubber boasts its unique physiological inertness, being non-toxic, odorless, and resistant to yellowing and fading over long-term use. It is also less susceptible to external environmental interference, meeting national food and hygiene standards. It is widely used for filtering impurities in food, aluminum silver paste, and various oils.
Good electrical insulation properties
Organic silicone boasts excellent electrical insulation properties, as well as superior corona resistance (the ability to withstand quality degradation) and arc resistance (the capability to resist deterioration caused by high-voltage arcs).

High breathability and selectivity for gas permeation
Due toSiliconeThe molecular structure of silicone O-rings enables excellent breathability and gas selectivity. At room temperature, the permeability of silicone to air, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases is 30-50 times higher than that of natural rubber.
Five: Moisture Absorbent Properties
Silicone rings have a low surface energy, absorbing moisture from the environment and providing insulation.
Six: Wide range of high and low temperature resistance
1. High-Temperature Resistance: Silicone-made seals have superior heat resistance compared to standard rubber, allowing them to withstand high temperatures without deformation or the release of harmful substances. They can be used at 150℃ almost indefinitely without any performance changes, and can operate continuously at 200℃ for 10,000 hours, and can also be used for a period at 350℃. They are widely applied in scenarios requiring heat resistance, such as the seals for thermal bottles.
2. Low Temperature Resistance: Ordinary rubber becomes hard and brittle at -20℃ to -30℃, whereas silicone rubber maintains good elasticity down to -60℃ to -70℃. Certain special formulations of silicone rubber can withstand even more extreme low temperatures, such as low-temperature seals, which can go as low as -100℃.
