How Strong Is the Compression Resistance of Double-layer Pressure-Resistant Woven Silicone Hoses?

       Textured silicone tubesThe principle of product function design involves enhancing the traditional silicone tube with a special process to achieve high-pressure resistance. This is due to certain products requiring high pressure, such as several tens of kilograms of air or water pressure. Using ordinary silicone tubes under such high pressure could cause immediate rupture. While increasing the wall thickness can moderately enhance resistance, it falls far short of the required standard. The solution is to add woven threads, maintaining a mesh-like structure of the silicone that remains stable and doesn't rupture under pressure. By then encasing it with an additional silicone outer tube, the overall pressure resistance is strengthened, thereby achieving the characteristic of high-pressure resistance.
In addition to its remarkable pressure resistance, the bending radius is also excellent. In the user scenario of water cooler enterprises, the pipeline guiding water is made of silicone tubes. These silicone tubes can withstand normal water pressure without issues, but they lack sufficient support, making it easy for pressure to suddenly stop during operation. The silicone tube may be drawn in by negative pressure, causing deformation and bending. If a water cooler's silicone tube bends during operation, it can lead to a blockage where water flow is obstructed. In such cases, switching to a woven silicone tube is an option. These tubes have the support of woven threads and two layers of silicone, with the woven threads being tightly woven in a regular pattern, rendering them inelastic. This significantly enhances their bending capacity, allowing for a range of 35~200mm without any blockages.
       Silicone Woven PipePressure resistance is categorized into positive and negative pressure. Withstanding positive pressure is relatively easier, as it requires weaving a fiber line around the inner tube before extruding the outer tube. On the other hand, withstanding negative pressure is more challenging, necessitating a very stable weaving line with no room for伸缩 (stretching) and also possessing certain supporting force. For instance, steel wire silicone braided tubes boast remarkable resistance to negative pressure, along with excellent positive pressure resistance.

Therefore, they are best suited for use within the 12 to 25 kg range.
If a product requires exceptional resistance to pressure, increasing the wall thickness or changing the weaving wire can be appropriate. Even in the most complex environments or under high-pressure conditions, with proper use and understanding of woven silicone hoses, one can navigate them with ease. The ability to replace inner bend tubes, weave materials, and switch production processes offers flexibility. In fact, woven silicone hoses are already sufficient to meet many requirements.
