Valves can be categorized based on primary function into: disconnect valves, check valves, gate valves, regulating valves, and isolation valves.
According to the different pounds in application, they can be categorized as: vacuum valves, bottom pressure valves, high-pressure valves, high-pressure valves, and high-pressure valves.
The valves can be categorized according to their operating temperatures as: Low Temperature Valves, Low Temperature Valves, Ambient Temperature Valves, Medium Temperature Valves, and High Temperature Valves.
The braking system can be categorized into different methods: fully automatic valves, which further include (valves, pressure regulators, steam traps, check valves, and automatic regulating valves); actuator valves, which can be further divided based on different power sources (electric regulating valves, pneumatic valves, hydraulic valves, pneumatic valves, and electric regulating valves), and manual valves.

Valves can be categorized based on their structural appearance into: valve shape, plug valve shape, plug valve, swing check valve, butterfly, and scroll pump.
Valve interfaces with other piping materials can be categorized as follows: bolted connection valves, flanged loose fit valves, welded connection valves, clamp connection valves, sleeve connection valves, and girth weld connection valves.
According to the raw materials used in the manufacturing of instrument valves: metallic composite instrument valves, non-metallic material instrument valves, and metal material oil passage liner instrument valves.
Model and specifications of control valves are numerous and may also fall into other categories, but in the end, they are all applicable to industrial pipeline use, including stop valves, relief valves, gate valves, globe valves, diaphragm valves, plunger valves, check valves, check valves, regulating valves, pressure-reducing valves, steam traps, and more.
