Humid weather can be incredibly uncomfortable, especially during the "returning moisture" season in the south, when walls can develop beads of condensation. As is widely known, paper boxes and other paper products are highly absorbent, and moist air can be lethal to cardboard. So,Box ManufacturerHow to store cardboard boxes in warehouses during humid weather? A Yongda Paper Industry editor shares some tips.

Regular inspections of the corrugated box warehouse for humidity levels

The cardboard manufacturer conducts humidity checks outside the warehouse every day. If the humidity inside the warehouse is significantly higher than that outside, windows must be opened for ventilation. Conversely, if the humidity outside the warehouse is higher than inside, windows should be closed to minimize air flow.

2. Place absorbent materials in the warehouse

During rainy days, the corrugated cardboard box manufacturer wraps bagged quicklime with sacks and places them in various parts of the warehouse to keep it dry.

3. Maintain cleanliness within the warehouse.

Then maintain the cleanliness of goods and the ground, minimizing dust and surface water droplets.

4. How to Handle Wet Corrugated Boxes in a Packaging Factory

Moisture-damaged boxes are mostly soft and have reduced compressive strength, making them largely suitable for scrap. Scrap products are then recycled into paper and repurposed into cardboard through the cardboard-making process.
