Nine years ago, when we first began to promote our own brand of kayaks in the domestic market, we could only sell 300 a year. Now, our annual domestic market shipment exceeds 20,000. Canoes are popular attractions at these tourist destinations, and the company's own-brand canoes have performed impressively in the domestic market over the past few years.


"In 2015, we started our domestic sales, promoting our own brand, actively conducting training and promotions across various regions. However, by the end of the year, with a yearly sales volume of 300, we felt a bit discouraged. Some industry peers advised us to stick to OEM manufacturing for lower risk and less hassle." Looking back at the initial struggles in entering the domestic market, Wang Xiaoxing is grateful he persevered. Having been a canoeist and a canoeing judge, he has always been bullish on the sport's potential in China, believing it to be one of the more promising outdoor leisure activities with rapid and sustained demand for equipment. Indeed, within three years, our domestic sales volume exceeded 5,000, surpassing 10,000 by the fifth year, and in recent years, our annual domestic shipment has exceeded 20,000. "Although the domestic sales only account for 20% of our total production capacity, the growth has been surprising, indicating a vast blue ocean of opportunity waiting to be exploited domestically. In recent years, we have actively organized and participated in canoeing competitions, hoping to use these events to promote canoeing and our domestic canoeing equipment brand."


In response to the continuously expanding domestic market, the rotational molding kayak factory is operating at full steam, with inflatable boats and power surfboards also showcasing impressively at the Hainan Sports Expo. Hainan Haichuang Te Fei Group's independently developed portable inflatable boat kit weighs only 50 kilograms. This ultra-light inflatable boat can be paired with the group's new energy-powered surfboard. "The combination addresses the boat's power needs, while the separation allows for surfing. It's easy to assemble and disassemble, takes up minimal space, and is suitable for family and team leisure and vacation activities on the coast and lakes," said General Manager Cheng Zhongyun. Haichuang Te Fei has applied aviation power miniaturization to its series of water surfboards, obtaining approximately 60 patent technologies. The company hopes these technologies will enrich the functionality of water sports equipment, enabling more water sports gear to come alive in vast water bodies.
