Solar street lights are powered by sunlight, and like any equipment, they may encounter various issues after long-term use. What problems might commonly arise with Kunming solar street lights over time?
1. The solar street lamp's lights flicker and the brightness is unstable. If this issue persists even after replacing the lamps, it can be ruled out that the problem is with the lamps. At this point, inspect the wiring, as it's likely that poor contact at the wiring interfaces is the cause.
2. Solar streetlights can only last one to two days during rainy weather, primarily due to two main reasons.
Solar battery charging insufficient; inadequate solar battery charging is a common cause of solar charging issues. First, check the weather conditions to ensure that the battery can be charged for about 5-7 hours each day. If the charging only reaches 2-3 hours, this is normal and you can use it with confidence. Additionally, inspect the battery for signs of aging; under normal operating conditions, the battery's lifespan is typically 4-5 years.
3. When solar street lights stop functioning, the first step is to check if the controller is damaged. This issue often arises due to a faulty solar controller, and it's important to address the repair promptly.
