Mud draft production phase

  1. Sculpting KnifeA wide variety of shapes and sizes are available, including flat-blade, bevel-blade, and round-blade knives, which are used for adding, subtracting, shaping, and detailing clay sculptures. They are fundamental tools, often highly utilized, in the process of modeling clay.

  2. Scraping BladeTypically made of thin, flexible metal or plastic sheets, they are used to smooth the surface of clay models, refine their shapes, resulting in a more even and glossy surface, and creating a more accurate silhouette.

  3. DecidedTypically a wooden flat surface, used to beat the clay material for increased compactness. It is commonly employed during the construction of the internal framework of clay molds and shaping the overall form, aiding in the creation of stable and accurately shaped structures.

  4. TurntableMostly rotatable disc-shaped platforms are used, where clay models can be placed for easy observation and manipulation by sculptors from various angles during the shaping process. This allows for real-time adjustment to the most suitable angles for sculpting, thereby enhancing work efficiency.

Mold Fabrication Phase

  1. BrushWhen applying release agents or silicone materials to the surface of clay molds, choose a soft, non-loose bristle brush to ensure even application and avoid leaving any defects on the mold surface that could affect future use.

  2. Silicone Spray Gun (for Silicone Mold Replication)If using a silicone spray gun to create silicone molds, the gun can evenly disperse silicone onto the clay model, forming a layer of consistent thickness. This method is more efficient than hand brushing, though it's important to control the pressure and angle of the spray gun during operation.

  3. Mixing ToolOur company's products, such as stirring rods and electric mixers, are used for blending materials like silicone, resins (for making glass fiber reinforced plastic substrates), and gypsum. These tools ensure thorough and even mixing of these materials, achieving the appropriate viscosity and curing properties, thereby guaranteeing the quality of the molds.

  4. Gypsum Bandages (for Casting Molding)Pre-molded bandage gypsum material, containing gypsum powder and fibers, can be wrapped around clay molds after being soaked in water for casting. The process is relatively simple and suitable for casting clay parts with relatively simple shapes and lower precision requirements.

Stainless Steel Sheet Processing Stage

  1. Cutting Equipment

  • Laser Cutting MachineOur company's equipment excels in high-precision, high-quality cutting of stainless steel sheets, with precise cutting lines and smooth edges. Ideal for complex shapes and stringent precision requirements, it can automate cutting operations based on pre-designed graphic data.

  • Plasma Cutting MachineHigh-temperature plasma arc is used to melt and cut stainless steel plates, offering a relatively fast cutting speed. Commonly used for cutting thicker stainless steel plates, the quality of the cut edges is slightly inferior to that of laser cutting and may require additional sanding after the fact.

  • Forging Equipment

    • Air HammerPowering with compressed air, the hammering forging of stainless steel sheets allows for flexible adjustment of the hammering force and frequency, helping to shape various concave and convex, curved surface effects, suitable for forging and shaping of small stainless steel sculpture components.

    • Hydraulic PressHydraulic systems generate powerful pressure, enabling large-area and forceful deformation of stainless steel sheets. This is particularly beneficial for processing sheets requiring overall shaping of large curved surfaces or deep deformations, allowing stainless steel sheets to be shaped according to design specifications.

    Assembly and Welding Phase

    1. Argon Arc Welding MachineThis is a commonly used welding equipment for stainless steel sculptures, utilizing argon gas as a protective gas. It effectively prevents oxidation of the stainless steel surface during welding, resulting in high-quality welds with an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Suitable for welding connections of various stainless steel sheets, pipes, and more, it ensures the structural integrity of the sculptures.

    2. Welding FixtureA variety of components, such as various types of clamps and positioning fixtures, are used during the welding process to secure the position of stainless steel plates. This ensures the precise relative positioning of all parts during welding, preventing issues like misalignment. It aids in enhancing welding efficiency and quality.

    3. Grinding Angle MachineThis product is designed for sanding the welding edges of stainless steel sheets prior to welding, removing burrs and ferric oxide to facilitate the welding process. Post-welding, it can also be used to smooth out weld seams, leveling any protrusions for a more even and smooth sculpted surface, benefiting subsequent surface finishing processes.

    Surface Treatment Phase

    1. SandpaperAvailable in various grits, including coarse, medium, and fine sandpapers, these are used sequentially to rough, medium, and fine sand the sculpture surface, gradually removing surface blemishes and scratches, resulting in a progressively smoother stainless steel surface, prepping it for subsequent polishing and other treatments.

    2. Polishing MachineIn conjunction with polishing waxes and other polishing materials, the surface of stainless steel sculptures can be polished to a glossy mirror-like finish or achieve the desired matte texture through polishing with a high-speed rotating polishing wheel, enhancing the overall appearance quality of the sculptures.

    3. Airless Spray Guns (for coloring processes)To color stainless steel sculptures, a spray gun can evenly apply paints, fluorocarbon paints, and other coatings to the surface, achieving a uniform and aesthetically pleasing coloring effect. During operation, it is necessary to reasonably control the parameters such as the pressure, spray distance, and spray angle of the spray gun according to the coloring requirements.
