The Differences Between Photovoltaic Automatic Reclosing Switches and Self-restoring Overvoltage Protectors

The XY47-63 automatic reclosing switch is a miniature circuit breaker designed for circuits with rated working voltage of 50Hz up to 400V and rated working current of 80A. It can be used for remote automatic closing, opening control, or automatic signal control.
The circuit breaker provides overload and short-circuit protection, and can be paired with a voltage-loss release to enable power-off activation and automatic shutdown upon power restoration. It is currently widely used in photovoltaic grid-connected AC distribution boxes, as well as in areas where access is difficult, where maintenance personnel cannot arrive in time, in unattended environments, and in situations where a high level of power supply continuity is required.
2. Self-Recover Overvoltage Protector: The self-recoverable overvoltage protector is suitable for users or loads with single-phase AC voltage of 220V and a frequency of 50Hz, and rated working current of 60A or less. It provides protection for single-phase electrical equipment against under-voltage in single-phase lines caused by neutral line faults. Mainly used for protecting the incoming lines of residential household cabinets or distribution lines for single-phase electrical equipment that requires protection.
Usage Instructions:
When a single-phase line experiences overvoltage or undervoltage, the line will automatically disconnect, and the voltage of the single-phase line will return to normal. After a delay of 1-2 minutes, the line will automatically reset and reconnect, without the need for manual shutdown operations.
2. When transient or transient overvoltage conditions occur on the line, measured in seconds, the protector does not activate.
3. The protector will not connect the circuit when the line voltage is unstable due to faults like incorrect contact, or during sudden power outages or power restoration.
4. When the line voltage fails, the protector itself will not be damaged.
5. The protector features an anti-time delay action, with an operating time ≤ 1s.
6. Voltage Protection Range: Below 40A - 0 ~ 450V, 50/60A - 0 ~ 600V.
7. Impulse Withstand Voltage: 4kV (compliant with III category electrical safety standards).
8. The protector panel features bi-color indicator lights to denote operational status, with green indicating normal line voltage and red signaling positive-negative line voltage or delay.
9. Modular design with guide rail installation.
10. Wire Connection Specifications: Insulated wires with a cross-sectional area of 25mm2 and below.
