The composite insulator is composed of three parts: an insulating core rod, a silicone rod with a胶umbrella-type sleeve, and the connecting hardware at both ends. Insulating core rods, also known as epoxy resin glass fiber drawn rods, serve as the skeleton for composite insulators. They support the hood, internal insulation, and hardware at both ends, while also withstanding mechanical loads. They offer high tensile strength, typically exceeding 600 MPa, which is twice that of ordinary steel and 5 to 8 times that of porcelain materials. They also exhibit excellent dielectric properties, chemical resistance, and resistance to bending fatigue, creep, and impact. Silicon rubber hood sleeves primarily protect the core rod, shield against rain and snow, increase the creepage distance, and enhance the external insulation of the product. These sleeves are made from high polymer silicone rubber, reinforced with flame retardants, anti-aging agents, coupling agents, and other fillers, and are vulcanized under high temperature and pressure. They have good hydrophobicity and migration properties, as well as excellent resistance to corrosion, aging, and electrical insulation. Additionally, they boast high flashover voltages and resistance to breakage, with voltage distribution being uniform. Compared to porcelain, their flashover voltage under the same conditions is more than twice that of porcelain. Composite Insulator Product Types FXBW-----Rod-type Suspended Composite Insulator FPQ - Composite Needle Insulator FZSW - Composite Pole Insulator FS - Composite Cross Arm Insulator FCGW——Composite Dry Wall Penetration Sleeve FQE(X) - Composite Insulator for Electrified Railways FQJ - Composite Insulator for Electrically Powered Road Vehicle Rooftop Terms of Use Operating Temperature: -40℃ to +40℃; Altitude: Not exceeding 1500 meters Supply voltage frequency not exceeding 100HZ, wind speed not exceeding 35m/s Earthquake intensity does not exceed 8.0. Product Performance Features Small in size and light in weight, approximately 1/5 to 1/9 of the volume and weight of similar voltage porcelain insulators, making them easy to transport and install. Composite insulators have high mechanical strength, reliable structure, stable performance, and large safety margin for operation, providing assurance for the lines and safe operation. The composite insulator boasts excellent electrical properties, with the silicone rubber hood offering good hydrophobicity and migration resistance, excellent anti-pollution performance, strong anti-pollution flashover capability, ensuring safe operation in heavily polluted areas without the need for manual cleaning or zero-value maintenance. Composite insulators feature resistance to acids and alkalis, heat aging, and electrical properties, excellent sealing performance, and ensure that the internal insulation remains dry. The composite insulator exhibits excellent resistance to brittleness and strong vibration resistance, preventing any brittle fracture incidents. Composite insulators are interchangeable and can be used in place of porcelain and other insulators.
