Stone wool boards, also known as thermal insulation and decorative stone wool boards, are inorganic fiber boards made from basalt through high-temperature melting processing. They were successfully trial-produced in June 1981. Stone wool boards are a new type of thermal insulation, fire-retardant, and sound-absorbing material.

Rock wool boards are artificially inorganic fibers processed through high-temperature melting, characterized by light weight, low thermal conductivity, heat absorption, and non-flammability. Initially developed, they are commonly used in construction for various application types. For industrial buildings, they should comply with the regulations in "Application Types and Basic Requirements for Building Insulation Materials."
