The instrument is connected by the upper motor and motor-driven coupling, with the transmission between the motor and the main shaft achieved through a universal joint. At the lower end of the main shaft, an electrode head is installed, which is connected by a threaded connection to accommodate various electrodes, and is held in contact with the electrode by a spring pin on the shaft.
