The instrument is connected by a motor at the top and a motor-driven coupling, which transmits power through a universal joint between the motor and the main shaft. At the bottom of the main shaft, an electrode head is installed. It features a threaded connection for compatibility with various electrodes, maintaining contact with the electrode by a spring-loaded pin on the shaft.
