The aluminum art door is a super luxurious entrance. The lustrous gold is majestic, solid, and heavy, evoking a sense of solemnity and sanctity. It is designed for placement at the entrance of grand, secluded mansions, serving as both a symbol of status and a formidable barrier, protecting the peace within. Note the customized installation of these aluminum art doors.
Key Considerations for Custom Aluminum Gate Installation
Firstly, remove the door leaf, insert the door frame into the hole of the door, use a ruler and string line, if it's not a straight line, check if it's level, or use wood shims to straighten it when necessary.
2. Wood shims are inserted between the door frame and the wall to ensure stability. During installation, cement mortar is poured into the door frame. Once the cement mortar has been set and dried, the wood shims on the outside of the door seam can be removed and used. However, try to minimize the number and the force of opening within the first 24 hours.
3. Typically, after the door aluminum is manufactured and processed, there is a surface coating treatment, which is mainly for protection. The coating on the surface of the aluminum craft door provides good protection for the materials inside the cover. Therefore, the installation process of the door should be very careful. Avoid hitting the door with hard or pointed objects, as this can scratch or even peel off the surface paint. It would expose the raw materials to the outside for a long time, reacting with the rust-causing oxygen in the air and affecting the appearance.
4. Although aluminum itself has strong corrosion and oxidation resistance, when installing aluminum artistic doors, try to avoid high-oxidation and strong-corrosive chemicals in the construction site, and prevent direct contact with the door. If you accidentally touch the surface of the chemical product, wash it thoroughly with clean water, then dry it with a soft and clean cloth. If necessary, use a cleaning agent for surface cleaning and maintenance.
5. New aluminum art doors typically feature a membrane paper, which is used to protect the surface layer of the product. Do not rush to install them to avoid damaging the door while removing the membrane paper. For instance, decorative walls, when doors covered in them are splashed with cement, paint, and other chemicals, they can easily develop black spots and rust over time. The lower frame of the door should also be protected, and a U-shaped channel can be made from wood.
6. If there are walls to be cleaned, seal and protect the doors before cleaning the walls with plastic film. Especially for decorative materials that are particularly special, such as marble walls. Cleaning with oxalic acid and other chemicals can severely damage the product, so such materials must not be allowed to come into contact with the surface of the main doors.
To prevent the cling film from sticking to the aluminum art doors, it should be removed after installation. To maintain aesthetics, it is recommended to handle this within 30 days.
8. Do not apply any oils in the lock holes to avoid clogging the small openings. Should you encounter any issues with a door not opening properly or other problems affecting the use of the door, please contact the manufacturer's after-sales service department promptly.
9. Aluminum door art should generally be avoided from direct exposure to rain and sunlight, otherwise it will cause excessive frequency, which will shorten the door's aesthetic lifespan.
