Product Overview

Spiral plate heat exchangers are a type of heat exchange equipment suitable for gas-gas, gas-liquid, and liquid-liquid applications, as well as for condensation and liquid evaporation heat transfer. This product boasts high heat transfer efficiency, strong self-cleaning ability against fouling, compact size, affordable pricing, and reliable operation. It is used in industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals, solvents, food, light industry, textiles, metallurgy, rolling steel, and coking. They can be categorized into non-detachable (Type I) and removable (Type II, III) spiral plate heat exchangers based on their structural design.

The nominal pressure PN for spiral plate heat exchangers is specified as 0.6, 1, 1.6, and 2.5 MPa (equivalent to the original 6, 10, 16, and 25 kg/cm²), referring to the working pressure the single channel can withstand. The test pressure is 1.25 times the working pressure.

Basic Parameters

The material for the contacting part of the spiral plate heat exchanger is carbon steel Q235A, Q235AF, and stainless acid steel SUS321, SUS304. Other materials can be selected according to customer requirements.

 Operating Temperature Range: Carbon steel: t=0～+350°C, stainless steel and acid-resistant steel: t=-40～500°C. The temperature and pressure reduction range shall comply with the relevant regulations for pressure vessels. When selecting this equipment, appropriate process calculations should be made to ensure the fluid within the equipment channel reaches turbulent flow. (Typically, liquid velocity is 1m/s, gas velocity is 10m/s).

  A single unit of equipment does not meet the usage requirements; multiple units can be combined for use, but they must comply with the following regulations:

Parallel and series combinations: equipment and channel spacing are the same.

Mixed Combination: One channel in parallel, one channel in series.
