The signage system, which serves not only as a guide, explanation, and indicator, is also a crucial component of environmental layout and a vital part of creating style and shaping culture. Understanding and correctly recognizing it is essential to fully utilize its potential. High-quality signage can greatly assist in the standardized management and overall image enhancement of public environments such as enterprises, hospitals, schools, tourist attractions, hotels, inns, office buildings, government agencies, and park areas. So, what constitutes a qualified signage product? What standards are there during the signage production process? Here are several standards for signage manufacturing to enhance our technical level and help businesses distinguish between high-quality and substandard signage. Join the signage factory editor to learn about signage quality standards below.
Section 1: Aluminum Alloy Extrusion Signboard Quality Standards
Aluminum alloy profiles and accessories made of commonly used plastic materials should meet the quality standards of aluminum alloy label profiles.
2. Aluminum alloy profiles have an angular bottom deviation of less than ±1 degree.
3. Flat gap ≤ 0.4% * B (B being the profile width) - Spiritual Fortress.
Section II: Acrylic Signage Manufacturing Standards
1. Acrylic mold release hot bending shapes are consistent in size and shape, with no bubbles or scratches on the surface.
Post-bend forming, the surface is treated with coarse sand, fine sand, and grinding to ensure smoothness without steps.
3. Upon completion, the surface features a soft and even sheen, free of granular particles, bubbles, and offers uniform light transmission.
Section 3: Stainless Steel Signage Manufacturing Standards
1. Stainless steel plates require grooving, bending, and welding (stainless steel plates must be grooved before bending to ensure edge rigidity); ensure that the radius of the bend is less than 1MM.
Pre-welding surface cleaning reduces defects such as false welding, porosity, and cracks in the weld seam.
After welding, all visible seams are sanded smooth, matching the surrounding surface and with no visible scratches. The signage employs mature welding techniques to ensure that there are no welding marks on the finished product.
Section 4: Standard for Enamel Coating Signage Production
Surface cleaning, filling in gaps, sanding, and other related surface treatments.
2. Utilizes environmentally friendly paint baking finishing process. The baking room must be a dust-free workshop, with a three-coat and three-bake treatment for the baking finish surface, and the coating thickness of the landscape小品 must be greater than or equal to 35 micrometers.
Caring for acrylic signage products is a crucial aspect. As widely known, acrylic products boast high light transmission, lightweight, attractive appearance, and excellent durability, meeting the requirements of impact resistance in many applications. So, how should acrylic signage products be maintained and cared for on a daily basis?
Avoid use above 100 degrees Celsius. Acrylic starts to deform at around 70 degrees Celsius and softens above 100 degrees. The thermal deformation stability of common acrylic plates is around 100 degrees, so be mindful of this temperature when using acrylic products, ensuring that the temperature does not exceed 90 degrees Celsius during continuous use.
Acrylic products have a hardness equivalent to aluminum, so they should be handled with care to avoid scratching the surface during use or processing. For minor scratches, you can simply wipe with a tissue or cloth dipped in a small amount of toothpaste. For larger scratches, I personally advise against sanding the acrylic, as it can ruin the product, leaving the surface completely scratched. If the acrylic product has minor scratches or surface wear, you can try taking it to the manufacturer and using a polisher (or a car waxer) with a cloth wheel, applying a moderate amount of liquid polish, and polishing evenly to improve the imperfect appearance.
Acrylic should be cleaned with a soft cloth; never use any cleansers containing granular particles or various chemical agents. To clean minor scratches or dust attraction due to static, simply wipe the acrylic product clean with a soft cloth dampened with 1% soap water.
This is a detail to be noted during the assembly of acrylic products, as acrylic sheets have a certain expansion coefficient. Therefore, when installing, the thermal expansion and contraction of the acrylic sheets must be considered, and sufficient space for expansion and contraction should be left during assembly.
Acrylic is prone to cracking, so care should be taken to protect its surface during handling. In case of minor damage to acrylic products, IPS adhesive glue/ adhesive or a dichloromethane-based adhesive or quick-drying agent can be used to bond or repair them.
To achieve a glossy finish on acrylic products, apply liquid polishing wax and then wipe evenly with a soft cloth. Landscape ornament manufacturer
