Welding Technique for Stainless Steel Flanges

Required Equipment

A set of manual welding equipment, one handle-type angle grinder, one electric pneumatic hammer, and one flat ruler.

Pre-welding preparation

1. Inspect and tune the equipment to ensure normal operation; 2. Prepare φ4.0J402 welding rod for one-hour drying at 300℃-350℃.

Welding process

1. Assemble the conical shaft and large flange according to the drawing specifications, then divide the large flange evenly into 8 equal parts.

2. Welding is done in segmented, symmetrical layers due to the thick flanges and larger bevels.
