Water under pressure, supplied from the jet pump, enters the nozzle through the water chamber. The nozzle converts the pressure energy of the water into kinetic energy, causing the water to jet out at high speed, creating a high vacuum inside the chamber. This vacuum extracts the vapor-gas mixture from the condenser, which then enters the diffuser. As the water velocity slows down in the diffuser, the pressure gradually increases, and the mixture is expelled from the diffuser at a pressure slightly above atmospheric pressure. An anti-siphon valve is installed at the inlet of the air intake chamber to prevent the working water from being siphoned into the condenser in case of a pump failure.
