What does GOTS stand for?
GOTS, the Global Organic Textile Standard, is the result of a senior certification body and the harmonious development of high technology.
The purpose of this certification standard is to ensure the规范性 of organic textiles from raw material harvest, through environmentally friendly and socially responsible production methods, to product labeling. This new, unique certification standard requires textile manufacturers to adhere to globally recognized standards for the production of their organic textiles and apparel, an important step towards achieving coordination and transparency in textile labeling.
This organic textile certification standard covers the entire process, including the cultivation, processing, packaging, labeling, export, import, and distribution of all natural fibers. The products include, but are not limited to, fibers, fiber products, yarns, and apparel.
