Dust removal equipment is now widely used in China's power, water conservancy, steel, and chemical industries, making a positive contribution to the effective control of waste emissions. However, it is important to note that China's air pollution issue remains prominent. According to newly released data from the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the proportion of days with severe and serious pollution in 74 cities across the country in July 2013 decreased by 3.2 and 0.4 percentage points, respectively, and the concentrations of major pollutants all decreased. Among the days exceeding the standard, days with ozone and PM2.5 as the primary pollutants accounted for a significant number, totaling 71.6% and 24% of the polluted days, respectively. The data shows that ozone has replaced PM2.5 as the main pollutant for July.
In a bid to reduce air pollution and protect the atmospheric environment, China is increasingly emphasizing environmental protection, with continuous increases in investment in environmental governance and the proportion of environmental investment in GDP also on the rise. As a major equipment manufacturing product for controlling atmospheric pollution—dust removal equipment—its prospects are promising.
Although the dust removal equipment manufacturing industry in our country still faces low market entry barriers and inconsistent standards, which leads to a mix of quality in participating enterprises competing for projects, and has a certain adverse impact on industry development, the industry's various indicators have maintained an annual growth rate of over 30% in recent years. This positive outlook for development ensures that the investment prospects for the dust removal equipment manufacturing industry in our country remain promising.
