Polypropylene mesh reinforced woven fiber corrosion-resistant tape, commonly referred to as "PP corrosion-resistant tape," is an environmentally friendly tape with no pollution or harm. It is a product introduced by our company using advanced foreign technology and processes, and is in accordance with the domestic corrosion-resistant tape technical standard SY/T 0414-1998. The base material is a unique modified polypropylene mesh reinforced woven geotextile, coated with high-adhesive butyl rubber modified asphalt, and produced through hot-molding technology. It is then covered with a release film. It is used in conjunction with primer during construction. Over the past decade, it has been widely used in the anti-corrosion protection of steel pipelines in the oil, natural gas, coal gas, chemical, and construction industries, as well as the exterior protection of buried steel storage tanks, and has gained the trust of customers worldwide. It has become one of the earliest manufacturers of polypropylene mesh reinforced woven fiber corrosion-resistant tape in the domestic market.
The construction and acceptance of polypropylene corrosion-resistant tape in China follows the current PetroChina natural gas standard SY/T 0414-2007 and the national chemical industry specification HC/T 20679-2014; while internationally, most adhere to the ASTM D1000 by the American Society for Testing and Materials and the European EN 12068 standard.
