I. Definition and Function

‌Definition: Pressure vessel connected to the continuous blowdown outlet of a boiler, which separates high-salinity blowdown water into secondary steam (recoverable) and waste hot water (to be treated and discharged) through减压扩容‌.

‌Core Features:‌

Maintain boiler water quality by draining off the high-salt content boiler water below the evaporation surface to prevent salt concentration from exceeding the limit.‌。

Recover the heat energy of the secondary steam through the flash steam principle, enhancing the system's thermal efficiency.‌。

II. Workflow

‌Input Stage: High-temperature, high-pressure waste water is extracted from the salt section of the boiler drum, directed into the expansion vessel via a pressure relief valve, creating a rotational flow to enhance separation efficiency._

‌Separation Phase: Waste water is insulated and expanded in the expansion vessel, part of which vaporizes into secondary steam. After being purified through a top-venting water-steam separator, it is then directed to the deaerator or thermal system._

‌Emission Stage: Excess waste hot water is automatically drained through a float ball level valve or overflow regulating valve, with some of the remaining heat available for preheating softened water.‌
