Rebar, also known as hot-rolled ribbed steel bars, is commonly referred to as such. The grade of standard hot-rolled rebar is composed of the HRB prefix and the minimum yield point value of the grade. H, R, and B stand for the first letters of Hotrolled, Ribbed, and Bars, respectively.
Rebar with ribs, hot-rolled, is available in three grades: HRB335 (old grade 20MnSi), HRB400 (old grades 20MnSiV, 20MnSiNb, 20MnTi), and HRB500.
