During the operation of plate and frame filter presses, various issues may arise. Here are some points summarized for our users, highlighting the issues that should be paid attention to during the use of plate and frame filter presses.
If your plate and frame filter press is not equipped with an automatic water rinse for the filter cloth, remember to never spray water onto the oil tank's power supply during the filter cloth rinse to avoid damage or even accidents.
Before the press filter machine is turned on, the filter plates and frame plates must be arranged neatly and placed parallelly on the push plate end. Otherwise, the main beam of the machine may bend and deform due to improper placement, rendering it unable to operate normally.
During the machine's operation, filter plates and frames should not be removed at will, as this can easily lead to insufficient oil cylinder formation, potentially causing serious accidents. If cracks are found in the filter plates or frames of the pressure filter press, the machine should be stopped immediately and the parts replaced promptly to prevent the cracking of other filter plates and frames.
Hydraulic oil injection must pass through the air filter to be added to the oil tank, and it is essential to reach the oil level specified for that model. When injecting hydraulic oil, be cautious not to introduce any debris or water into the tank. If this happens inadvertently, stop the machine immediately and address the issue promptly to prevent rusting of hydraulic components and blockage of the oil tank.
During the material pressure filtration process, the feed switch of the plate and frame pressure filter should be gradually opened, as the feed pressure must not exceed the rated pressure specified in the manual.
