Rubber sheet production involves basic processes such as plasticization, blending, calendering or extrusion, molding, and vulcanization. Each process has specific requirements for the product, accompanied by various auxiliary operations. To incorporate various additives into the rubber, the raw rubber must first be plasticized to enhance its plasticity. It is then blended with carbon black and various rubber additives to form a rubber compound. The compound is extruded into shaped blanks, which are combined with calendared or coated textile materials (or metals) to form semi-finished products. Vulcanization then transforms these semi-finished products into high-elastic products.
