Air Source Heat Pump System Working Principle
Low-pressure gaseous refrigerant enters the compressor, where it is compressed into a high-temperature, high-pressure gas. At this point, the refrigerant's boiling point increases with pressure. The high-boiling-point refrigerant then enters the condenser to start liquefying, releasing heat in the process and becoming a liquid. Next, it passes through an expansion valve (throttle valve) before entering the evaporator. The expansion valve (throttle valve) reduces the refrigerant pressure, causing the low-pressure refrigerant to evaporate in the evaporator, absorbing heat and turning back into a low-pressure gas. It then returns to the compressor, thus completing the refrigerant cycle system.
