1. The installation location must have good ventilation. The generator rental end should have sufficient intake air vents, and the diesel engine end should have good exhaust air outlets. The exhaust air vent area should be more than 1.5 times larger than the water tank area.
2. The installation area should be kept clean and free from items that produce corrosive gases and vapors such as acidic or alkaline substances. Where possible, fire-fighting equipment should be provided.
3. For indoor use, exhaust the smoke pipes to the outside, ensuring the pipe diameter is appropriate. The exhaust pipe diameter of the silencer, and the bends in the connected pipeline should not exceed three to ensure smooth exhaust. Additionally, the pipes should be inclined downward by 5-10 degrees to prevent rainwater from entering. If the exhaust pipe is installed vertically upwards, a rain shield should be added.
4. When using concrete as the foundation, a level must be used to measure its levelness during installation, ensuring the unit is fixed on a level base. Vibration-proof pads or base bolts should be used between the unit and the foundation.
5. The unit housing features reliable protection grounding. For Beijing rental generators requiring a neutral point direct grounding, personnel will perform neutral grounding and install lightning protection devices. It is strictly prohibited to use the grounding devices of the municipal power supply for direct neutral point grounding.
6. The bi-directional switch between the generator and municipal power is highly reliable to prevent back-feeding. The wiring reliability of the bi-directional switch must be inspected and approved by the local power supply department.
