Aluminum alloy doors are a standard for luxury homes. Today, Xiangle Mingmen manufacturer will analyze the structure of double-sided aluminum alloy doors, as well as the differences between common aluminum art villa gates and iron art villa gates. We believe that after reading this article, friends will have a more updated and detailed understanding of this knowledge.
Double-sided cast aluminum door material structure
Double-sided aluminum alloy doors are a type of cast aluminum door, with both the surface and backside made of cast aluminum panels. These doors feature cast aluminum panels that are integrally cast, with a thickness of 8mm at the thinnest point and up to 2-3cm thick. The frames are bordered with 2.5mm aluminum extrusions. The surface paint on the aluminum panels is fluorocarbon metallic paint, which is baked at 200° Celsius for over three hours to ensure the product does not fade or peel. The door frames, door heads, and door pillars are made of SECC special steel. Special designs can be fitted with solid cast aluminum inserts. The cast aluminum door panels are made from high-grade quality aluminum, offering environmental protection, corrosion resistance, no rust, and high mechanical strength. Combined with Japanese vacuum casting technology, this method, compared to traditional sand casting, boasts advantages such as fine surface textures, high product density, and high mechanical strength. As a result, vacuum cast aluminum door panels achieve anti-theft and explosion-proof effects that traditional door panels cannot match.
The Differences Between Aluminum Craft Villa Gates and Iron Craft Villa Gates
Firstly, from an aesthetic perspective, the cast aluminum villa doors undergo standard processes such as shot blasting, powder coating, painting, varnishing, and UV protection, ensuring excellent oxidation, corrosion, impact, fade, and yellowing resistance. In contrast, the exterior cleanliness of wrought iron villa doors can only be maintained for 1-2 years before they are prone to fading, rusting, and corrosion.
Secondly, from the perspective of maintenance, pure aluminum material has a certain self-cleaning property and is also environmentally friendly. However, wrought iron villa gates require painting and maintenance after 2-3 years of installation, with each maintenance cost accounting for about 20% of the total gate value. The maintenance cycle is short, necessitating repeated painting, and incurring substantial labor and financial costs.
Then, while cast aluminum doors are more expensive in terms of material costs compared to wrought iron doors, the maintenance costs for wrought iron doors are significantly higher than those for cast aluminum doors.
