Steel-plastic composite tensile strips are made by selecting special micro high-strength galvanized steel wires, coated with anti-aging and acid-base-resistant polyethylene resin. They are a comprehensive geosynthetic material that combines rigid and flexible materials.
Steel-plastic composite reinforcing strips are widely used in:
Roadbed, embankment, cut, abutment, approach, ramp, slope stabilization, and tunnel entrance protection
Railroad subgrades, embankments, abutments, slope stabilization, tunnel entrance protection, port wharves, breakwaters, revetments, guidance dikes, flood embankments, dams, sluices
Industrial tailings dams, slag piles, material yards, cargo yards
Civil and building engineering, embankments, fences, various retaining structures
River and beach banks

Properties of steel-plastic composite tensile bands:
High Tensile Strength: The main tensile element of the steel-plastic composite tensile strap is the high-strength galvanized steel wire inside the strap. The diameter and number of the steel wires can be adjusted according to the actual engineering requirements to change the tensile force of the strap, producing tensile straps with different force requirements. The tensile strength of each strap is greater than 110Mpa to 225Mpa.
Deformed Small: The high-strength steel wire in the steel-plastic composite tensile strap ensures the breaking elongation of the strap is ≤3%.
Long lifespan: The protective layer of the steel-plastic composite tensile band is made from high molecular weight polyethylene material, mixed with a certain proportion of anti-aging, antioxidant, and light-shielding agents, and then formed through high-temperature extrusion. This ensures the gripping force between the protective layer and the steel wire, allowing them to bear forces together. The thermal extrusion during production reduces intermolecular gaps, ensuring that the steel wire inside the tensile band does not rust. The polyethylene protective layer treated with anti-aging has chemical properties that resist acid, alkali, and salt corrosion and is sufficient to withstand UV radiation-induced aging.
Cost-saving: Compared to rigid and flexible reinforcement strips, Changgu Brand steel-plastic composite reinforcement strips can save 10~50% of the construction cost. Easy installation: No processing is required before using the steel-plastic composite reinforcement strips, making cutting convenient. During construction, they do not require welding or anti-corrosion treatment like rigid reinforcement strips, saving labor on laying and avoiding overlap and cross, effectively shortening the construction period.
Excellent tensile resistance: The surface of the steel-plastic composite tensile strip features rough patterns and ribs formed by hot extrusion, effectively enhancing the coefficient of friction, fully meeting the tensile resistance requirements for tall retaining walls.
