The anchoring method can be used to reinforce asphalt concrete road surfaces without self-adhesive glass fiber geogrids and prevent reflection cracks between road surfaces. The anchoring method should be implemented by first laying the glass fiber geogrid and then applying hot asphalt as adhesive oil. Construction workers must wear gloves, and the construction method is as follows:

The adhesive oil selected is AH-70 or AH-90 heavy oil asphalt, which must comply with the specifications and quality standards set by the "Technical Specifications for Construction of Highway Asphalt Pavement" (JTJ032-94). The adhesive oil is applied using specialized vehicles, with an approximate consumption of 0.4kg to 0.6kg per square meter.

When laying glass fiber geogrid, ensure the laying is smooth and tight. The transverse overlap length should be between 50-100mm, and the longitudinal overlap length should be between 150-200mm. Additionally, based on the laying direction, the end should be pressed under the preceding end.

c. Compact with a rubber-tired roller.

d. 50 pieces of 0.3mm flat iron sheets, required to be flat without warping, with chamfered edges, and fastened with 2-inch steel nails (high-quality cement nails)

When laying glass fiber geogrid using the nail fixation method, first, secure one end with fixed iron sheet and nails to the lower structure already coated with asphalt emulsion. The nails can be hammered in or shot with a nail gun. As the grid is pulled tight longitudinally, the glass fibers are uniformly straight and taut.

f. When nailing, the latticework overlap distance should be: the longitudinal joint overlap should not be less than 15 cm, and the transverse overlap should not be less than 5 cm. The longitudinal overlap should place the preceding sheet above the following one, according to the asphalt paving direction.

g. Do not nail into glass fiber during installation, nor should you strike glass fiber directly with a hammer. If, after installation, you find that the nails have broken or the metal sheet is loose, they must be re-fastened.

h. To prevent construction vehicle tires from adhering to the glass fiber格栅 and sticky oil, and to avoid skidding on the asphalt concrete paver wheels, aggregate should be sprinkled on the adhesive oil surface. The recommended aggregate quantity is 3 m³/1000 m² to 5 m³/1000 m².

No construction is allowed when the air temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius or when the road surface is wet.

j. The construction method for asphalt surface layers is the same as that for ordinary asphalt pavement surface layers, but care should be taken to avoid sharp turns and sudden braking by construction vehicles on the surface of the glass fiber grid. (2) Direct laying method for self-adhesive glass fiber geogrid

Our adhesive glass fiber geogrid is a patented product of our group, offering convenient installation and stable quality. The installation method is as follows:

For both old asphalt concrete pavements and old cement concrete pavements, apply a leveling layer 20mm to 30mm thick. Ensure the road surface is clean and free of debris by using a vacuum truck or water truck.

b. Apply AH-70 or AH-90 heavy oil hot asphalt, with a recommended dosage of 0.3-0.4 kg/m².

c. Utilizing our group's dedicated paver, lay self-adhesive glass fiber grid, ensuring a smooth and tensioned application.

d. The transverse lap length should be between 50mm and 100mm, while the longitudinal lap length should be between 150mm and 200mm. The overlapping direction of the lapping should align with the direction of the asphalt concrete paver's operation.

e. Use a rubber-tired roller for compaction (the roller must be equipped with a water spray system).
