Nylon rope, though durable, should be used judiciously. By "judicious use," we refer to the specific applications of nylon rope. Users should not apply this product across all fields merely because of its strength and hardness.
Nylon ropes, when boiled in high temperatures, can produce harmful substances toxic to human health, such as methane and other toxins. These toxins can渗入hot water and rice dumplings. Eating rice dumplings contaminated with these toxins can cause mild symptoms like nausea and stomach discomfort, and in severe cases, dizziness, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Therefore, do not wrap heat-treated food items with nylon ropes.
Rope Care, Maintenance During Use: Several harmful behaviors for ropes: Avoid direct sunlight (sensitive to heat), acidic corrosion (alkaline), and frequent moving in a car trunk (the latter is not due to acid or alkali corrosion). Cleaning Ropes: Rinse with clean water (neutral or detergent) and lay flat to air dry; avoid hard objects during use; although stepping on it won't harm the rope, it should still be avoided.
The mycotoxins in nylon rope can cause nausea and discomfort in the stomach when they seep into zongzi (sticky rice dumplings) and boiling water, leading to dizziness and vomiting in severe cases. Therefore, it is not advisable to wrap heated foods with rope.
In rope maintenance, special attention must be given to the care during use. Particularly, it is important to note that ropes are prone to heat, so they should not be left out in the sun for extended periods, nor should they be stored in environments prone to acidic corrosion or bouncing around in a trunk. Nylon ropes should be cleaned and used by washing them in clean water.
