ZWJ 306 UV Flame Detector, Extinguished Flame Alarm Device
ZWJ-306 UV Flame Monitor, designed for flame detection in industrial burners for gas and oil, is highly sensitive to the generated UV radiation and unresponsive to light and high-temperature radiation from the furnace, offering strong anti-interference capability.
One, Function: Controls the automatic ignition of the ignition device, simultaneously opening the fuel valve. If the ignition does not occur within the set time, the controller automatically closes the fuel valve and alarms. If ignition is successful, it maintains normal fuel supply.

Five, Installation: 1. Probe Installation - The ZWJ-306 UV Flame Detector is a non-contact flame detector. During installation, please align the probe towards the flame. The probe can withstand a high temperature of 80°C. When used on burners or other high-temperature equipment, the detection channel in front of the probe must be ventilated and cooled. The diameter of the detection channel should not be less than φ18, and the installation thread of the probe is M20×1.5. According to relevant regulations, the monitoring sensitivity distance is 0.5 meters (when the detection channel is φ18), but the monitoring distance may increase with the flame radiation intensity and the size of the detection channel, but the maximum distance should not exceed 2 meters. 2. Calibration - To enhance monitoring sensitivity, the sensor cable should not be mixed with other power lines or signal lines.
6. The ZWJ-306 UV Flame Detector is pre-adjusted at the factory and usually ready for use upon installation. If the probe is too far from the detector and the wiring causes excessive distributed capacitance, the detector may show a flame when there is none. In this case, open the module and slowly adjust the matching potentiometer in the center of the module clockwise until the green indicator light turns off and the relay releases, indicating the module is properly adjusted. Once adjusted, cover the module. Please note not to over-adjust during the process, as over-adjustment may affect the monitoring sensitivity.

7. Troubleshooting 1. The burner is not on fire, but the monitor shows it is. This is interference caused by the distribution capacitance gradually increasing after the monitoring circuit gets damp. Please open the module, slowly adjust the potentiometer clockwise until the green indicator light goes out and the relay releases. 2. The burner is on fire, but the monitor shows it's not. There may be two reasons: one is that the probe lens is covered in dust. Please clean the quartz lens of the probe. The other is that the impedance matching potentiometer is over-adjusted. Please open the module, adjust the potentiometer counterclockwise until the green indicator light turns on and the relay engages. 3. If the lens of the probe is accidentally broken during installation or use, do not replace it with a regular glass sheet, as regular glass cannot transmit the ultraviolet rays produced by the flame.
