The Cast Steel Balls are made from high-quality steel scrap, initially melted and then transformed into spherical shapes using a high-pressure water jet. The formed balls are reheated for purification and homogenization, followed by quenching. The quenched balls are dried in the furnace and reheat tempered to achieve the appropriate hardness. The tempered steel balls are then sorted through mechanical screens into 11 grades conforming to the SAE standard for use in shot blasting equipment. Products with different sizes and hardnesses are used for various processes, such as surface hardening.

Scope of Application:

Shot blasting balls are widely used for descaling and rust removal on steelwork before painting, often employing centrifugal blasting equipment in such applications. The spherical shape and lower hardness of the steel balls prevent excessive wear on the equipment. Steel balls are also extensively used in the casting industry. After workpieces are removed from molds, they are cleaned of sand particles with steel balls. When used in conjunction with suitable equipment, their durability makes them an excellent abrasive for surface preparation.
