Multiple Protection Methods During the Use of Heterogeneous Steel Formwork Templates?
Rust-Free: To remove rust, slag, and other paint from the surface of steel molds, it is generally sufficient to use an angle grinder with a wire brush for flat mold rust removal, in line with the actual conditions on-site. Simply remove the surface rust is enough; in principle, a single treatment is required. For severe rust, additional treatments can be applied, but be cautious not to make the surface too smooth, as this may affect the paint's lifespan on the mold.
2. Oil-Free: To remove oil stains such as machine oil, salad oil, or others from the surface of the special-shaped steel mold, an accompanying degreaser can be used, or a strong detergent can be employed. For cleaning tools, a hard floor brush is recommended, which includes both small floor brushes and horizontal floor brushes.
3. Cleaning: Ensure the steel formwork is clean before applying the primer. Surface dust can be wiped away with a dry sponge. For building steel formwork, use a damp cloth to wipe the surface and then dry it with a cloth. Workers must wear shoe covers during painting to prevent soiling the formwork and affecting the finish.
