As living standards rise, the use of glass greenhouses for off-season vegetable and fruit tree cultivation has become increasingly common. With the continuous increase in labor costs, it is crucial to research and introduce simplified cultivation techniques for glass greenhouses to enhance management levels and reduce labor costs. By utilizing the intelligent glass greenhouse control system within the greenhouse, real-time data such as indoor temperature and humidity, soil temperature and humidity, and location sensors are collected. The computer then issues commands based on the program, coordinating actions of roller shutters, water pumps, and film rollers to achieve automatic roller lifting, temperature and humidity control, and smart drip irrigation. In off-season fruit tree cultivation, by monitoring and controlling the timing of covering and ventilating the greenhouse based on the characteristics of the fruit tree's growth stages, the cold requirement of the trees can be adjusted, and dormancy can be promoted or broken. Real-time monitoring of the greenhouse crops through the glass greenhouse monitoring system can also improve standardized management levels. Equipping the greenhouse with track-based transportation vehicles can also effectively reduce the labor intensity of greenhouse management. These measures have reduced the labor intensity by 30% to 50%.


Caused by the typically taller structure of the fruit trees, the design parameters of standard greenhouse with ordinary daylight glass are not suitable for fruit cultivation. Besides employing reasonable pruning and dwarfing cultivation techniques, the design span of the fruit tree daylight glass greenhouse is set at 10 meters. By appropriately increasing the bottom angle of the front roof and raising the height of the greenhouse walls, the usable space of the glass greenhouse can be enhanced. However, due to the increased bottom angle of the front roof, the top angle of the glass greenhouse becomes smaller, leading to poor drainage and the formation of water pockets in the roof ventilation openings. Installing insect-proof netting and rigid mesh sheets at the top ventilation openings of the front roof can prevent the formation of water pockets.


Tree fruit cultivation in solar glass greenhouses allows for the artificial adjustment of fruit ripening periods, enabling the early or delayed harvest to ensure year-round market supply of fruit products.
