Heat Pipe Hot Water Generator
Heat Pipe Hot Water Generator (also known as a Heat Pipe Economizer) utilizes the heat energy from the flue gas at the boiler outlet, transferring it via superconducting heat pipes to heat boiler feed water or produce hot water for production, living, etc.
Boiler operational issues
National boiler manufacturers across the country, during the design and manufacturing of industrial oil, gas, and solid fuel boilers, due to various reasons, the rated thermal efficiency of the boilers only reaches below 75% of the total output. Over 25% of the heat energy is wasted through flue gas loss, chemical incomplete combustion loss, mechanical incomplete combustion loss, body heat dissipation loss, and ash slag physical latent heat loss, with flue gas loss accounting for over 90% of the total heat loss. Therefore, significantly reducing flue gas heat loss and recovering and utilizing this portion of heat energy has become the key to boiler energy conservation.
In compliance with environmental regulations, all coal-fired boilers in major and medium-sized cities across the country have been converted to gas or oil-fired boilers. However, the boiler temperatures remain relatively high, typically around 200°C to 280°C. These boilers are located in government agencies, large office buildings, hotels, and other facilities, and their number is substantial. Our company, addressing the issue of high exhaust gas temperatures from oil and gas boilers, has specially designed the "Heat Pipe Hot Water Generator" to recover the thermal enthalpy from the exhaust gas and return it to the boiler in the form of hot water, thereby achieving energy and emission reduction goals.

Heat Pipe Basics
Our self-manufactured heat pipes are gravity-assisted, with pipe components made of 20/GB3087 steel pipe. The sealed pipe is first evacuated to a vacuum of 1-2X10-4 Pa, then filled with an appropriate medium. The lower section of the gravity-assisted heat pipe is the heat-absorbing section, while the upper section is the heat-releasing section. When high-temperature flue gas washes over the heat-absorbing end, the medium inside absorbs heat and changes from liquid to vapor, a process known as phase change. The phase change medium absorbs a large amount of heat, known as latent heat of vaporization, thus the heat pipe has an exceptionally high heat absorption efficiency. The medium rises to the heat-releasing end of the heat pipe, releasing heat to the outside, and condenses into a liquid.
The refrigerant returns to the absorption end under the force of gravity. Due to the vacuum state inside the tube, the thermal resistance is very low, thus the heat pipe exhibits an isothermal characteristic, meaning the temperature difference between the top and bottom ends is minimal, and possesses superconductive properties.
