Metallic Enclosure and Protective TubeTAL Outer Sheath & Protection Tube: Made of high-temperature, corrosion-resistant alloys (such as IncoA sturdy housing made of materials such as Nel 600, 601; SS304, 316, encloses the internal zirconia core, heater, thermocouple, and other components. The front end is typically designed with a porous structure (e.g., sieve holes, groove holes) to allow process gas to diffuse and contact the outer electrodes, while also protecting the core components from physical damage (wear, impact) and direct impact of large particles. Some models may be fitted with an additional abrasion-resistant protective sleeve or a cyclone dust removal device.
