When the thermal oil pump rotates, the melt enters the teeth grooves between the two gears in the suction cavity.

As the gears turn, the melt is drawn into the discharge chamber from both sides.

·The re-engagement of the gears forces the molten material in the gear slots to be extruded out and into the discharge chamber, ultimately being pressed into the outlet pipeline.
