Is the probe's temperature value and O2 mV signal set to match the corresponding display signals on the controller? If not, it could be a calculation issue with the instrument. 5. After short-circuiting the probe's oxygen millivolt signal, can it recover to 10% within 5 seconds (if the instrument does not have a related display, a millivolt meter can be used for measurement).

6. Probing Impedance Test (Resistance Test) This is one method for verifying the integrity and reliability of the oxygen probe's electrical performance. The microprocessor installed in the controller provides resistance testing functionality, and the impedance of the probe should not exceed 25 kΩ at or above 15500F (843℃) in the test results.

7. Reference Air Test (Leakage Test): While the oxygen probe is operating in the furnace, clean reference air should be continuously introduced at a certain flow rate, approximately 5 to 2 CFH. To verify that the supply of reference air is normal, for a simple check of the reference air condition, you can first switch the controller to manual mode, then set the display to O2 mV (if the instrument supports it). Turn off the reference air for one minute and observe if the decrease in millivolt signal is less than 5mv. If your atmosphere controller does not support O2 mV display, we recommend temporarily using a millivolt signal measuring instrument.

If the mv signal drops rapidly after the reference air is disconnected, the probe is no longer usable and must be returned to the manufacturer for further testing and evaluation.
