As early adopters of this equipment, we have compiled the following practical experience for reference by our peers:

During construction, to prevent transit damage, the refractory bricks for the furnace lining are shipped without drying treatment. Therefore, after the equipment arrives at the factory or the furnace lining is majorly repaired, it is mandatory to perform a drying (baking) process. The conventional baking process is typically carried out at low temperatures over a long period, but it cannot completely remove moisture from within the furnace lining and its outer walls. The baking process requires heating to an allowable temperature to ensure the lining is fully heated for complete dehydration. For the SY-805 belt-type carbonizing furnace, the following baking specifications are provided. Improper operation can cause cracks in the lining, severely damaging the refractory bricks' high-temperature resistance and significantly shortening the lifespan of the furnace wall.
