Design of installation point location

The probe itself is heated to 700°C, but practical experience has shown that excessively high smoke temperature at the installation point can shorten the probe's lifespan, and the unstable smoke can lead to significant fluctuations in oxygen levels. Conversely, if the smoke temperature at the installation point is too low, it can cause low-temperature corrosion (SO2 and SO3 vapor), which also reduces the probe's lifespan. Therefore, the reasonable smoke temperature range for installing ZO-300 probes in boilers is 250°C to 500°C, typically located between the economizer and the induced draft fan. In addition, the installation point must ensure good smoke flow for ease of operation. Avoid selecting the installation point in dead-end locations and at smoke channel narrowing sections.
